Geonoise is the most specialised acoustic and vibration consultancy in Thailand. We are independent — we sell expertise and outcomes, and we do not sell the mitigation we recommend — so there is no conflict of interest in the advice you receive.
Founded in 2006 by Michel Rosmolen — Vice President of the Society of Acoustics (Singapore) and IIAV Director for South-East Asia — our senior engineers bring 40+ years of experience, hold international roles (IIAV, ICSV), use Norsonic-grade equipment calibrated by an ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratory and SoundPLAN modelling, and produce reports referencing ISO 9613-2 that are defensible in legal, EIA, and regulatory contexts.
We don't only apply the standards — we teach them. Geonoise Academy trains architects, engineers and environmental professionals across Thailand and our ASEAN partner network in how to produce a result that a regulator, a client or a court will accept.
What sets us apart from material sellers and general noise-measurers is calibrated, standards-grade equipment, properly credentialed engineers, and reports that protect you when they have to stand as evidence.
A quality system you can audit, not a claim you have to take on trust
Most acoustic consulting in Thailand runs without an externally audited quality system. Ours does not. From how a job is accepted, to how instruments are calibrated, to how site data is captured, reviewed and signed off — every step is documented and audited on a regular cycle.
