For EIA consultants

The noise chapter, delivered to your name

You hold the EIA. The noise chapter is one specialist section of it, and subcontracting it should not mean losing control of the schedule, the format or the client relationship. We deliver the acoustic work as your subconsultant — measured, modelled and written to drop into your report.

What we deliver

  • Baseline noise survey to ISO 1996, at the receptor positions the assessment requires
  • Prediction and impact assessment modelled in SoundPLAN to ISO 9613-2
  • Contour maps, receptor tables and scenario comparisons in the format ONEP expects
  • Mitigation recommendations with predicted performance, not generic advice
  • The written chapter, in Thai or English, ready to place into your document
  • Post-approval verification measurement where the conditions require it

How we work with you

  • We work to your programme and your deliverable dates, not ours
  • The work is delivered under your name. We do not approach your client
  • NDA as standard, before anything is shared
  • One named acoustic engineer on your project from start to finish
  • Where the assessment is queried, we answer the technical points directly so you are not caught between the reviewer and a subcontractor

Why subcontract it rather than absorb it

An acoustic chapter that is queried costs more in delay than it ever cost to produce.

The queries are almost always the same: the wrong measurement period, receptor positions that do not match the ones assessed, a model with undocumented assumptions, or a mitigation claim with no predicted figure behind it. Those are avoidable, and avoiding them is what a specialist is for.

What we need to quote

Project location and boundary, the type and scale of the source, the receptors of concern, your programme dates, and which authority the assessment goes to. That is usually enough for a fixed price.

Frequently asked questions

Do you approach our clients?

No. The work is delivered to you and under your name, and we say so in writing before we start.

Can you work to our report template?

Yes. We deliver the chapter in your format, in Thai or English.

What if the reviewer queries the noise section?

We answer the technical points, in writing or in person, as part of the engagement.

Can you take over a chapter that is already written?
