Noise measurement fundamentals
Acoustics basics, working with Class 1 sound level meters, Leq/Lmax/percentile parameters, calibration, and the common mistakes in real measurements
Building acoustics (ISO 16283 / ISO 717)
Field testing of airborne and impact sound insulation for walls and floors, single-number ratings, and construction acceptance testing
Environmental noise & EIA (ISO 1996)
Environmental noise surveys, nuisance assessment under Thai notifications, measurement-point selection, and reporting for EIA and regulators
Room acoustics & reverberation (ISO 3382)
Reverberation-time measurement, room-quality parameters, speech intelligibility (STI), and matching absorption design to the use of the space
Noise modelling with SoundPLAN (hands-on)
Practical workshops on noise mapping, ISO 9613-2 propagation modelling, building noise contours, and using model results in reports
Workplace noise & hearing conservation
Exposure assessment (TWA/dosimetry) under Thai labour law, hearing conservation programmes, PPE selection, and audit-ready reporting
