Hotel acoustics — the quiet your guests pay for
A 'noisy room' review costs more than it looks. Good acoustics are part of a premium experience. We help from design review through to pre-opening verification. Testing is carried out room by room against the values your design was meant to achieve, so any gap is caught and fixed before it becomes a guest complaint. Where a project is already open, we can also assess and prioritise problem rooms rather than retesting the whole property.

When should we start?
As early as possible — fixing it in design is far cheaper than on site — but we can still help at the pre-opening stage.
Can you verify the result?
Yes — we field-test and issue a report confirming the target values are met.
At what stage should we bring you in?
As early as possible — ideally at design stage, when a wall or floor build-up can still be changed at low cost. We can also step in later, at pre-opening or in response to complaints, but the fixes are usually more limited and costlier.
Do you test every room, or a sample?
For pre-opening verification we typically test a representative sample across room types and problem locations (corner rooms, rooms near lifts or plant), then extend testing if results are inconsistent. For an investigation of a specific complaint, we test the rooms involved.
Can you test both airborne and impact sound?
Yes, both are tested to the relevant ISO 16283 parts — airborne sound insulation between rooms, and impact sound (such as footsteps) from the floor above.
